Lancaster County Firemen's Association

Volunteer Firefighter Appreciation Day, celebrated annually on August 18th, is a day to recognize the dedication and bravery of volunteer firefighters across the country. These selfless individuals risk their lives to protect their communities from fires and other emergencies, all while serving without pay.

The event is hosted by Compleat Restorations and Volunteer Firefighter's Friends Inc and is located at the corner of Pointview Ave. and Lemon St. in Ephrata. There is be:

Food trucks: To satisfy everyone's cravings.
Wet & Dry Bouncy Firehouse with sprinkler yard: Fun for kids of all ages.
Vendors: Offering a variety of exciting products.
Bake sale: Satisfy your sweet tooth with delicious homemade treats.
Yard sales: Find hidden treasures at great prices.
Live music: Providing a festive atmosphere.

And the BEST OF ALL...

A FREE Biergarten exclusively for volunteer firefighters (21+ and must show valid fire company ID): A chance for our volunteer heroes to relax and enjoy some camaraderie after their dedicated service.

Please join us for the first benefit fundraiser for Douglas Arment! Doug was recently diagnosed with an aggressive Esophageal Cancer. He is a Lancaster County native that loves spending time with his wife of 27 years and their three daughters. Doug loves riding his motorcycle, tending to his garden and making memories with his friends and family. Doug has a strong faith that is aiding in his fight against Esophageal cancer along with the surgeons, chemotherapy and extensive specialist care. In an effort to supply him with financial support to aid in these challenges, we are organizing a co****le tournament and outdoor movie to raise funds to contribute to Doug’s medical fees, and travel expenses to and from the hospital. We will be offering concessions, drinks and raffles, featuring amazing gift baskets and prizes donated by our generous local businesses and organizations
