Late Post🤪! When there is a holiday, the Clerk's Office likes to celebrate! On Tuesday we celebrated the upcoming Juneteenth holiday with popcorn and popicles for our staff! Next up in Independence Day.

Juneteenth is the annual observance that marks the end of slavery in the U.S. The proclamation of freedom occurred on June 19, 1865, when Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas, emancipating over 250,000 enslaved Black individuals.
Please note that the Clerk's Office is closed today and will reopen tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.

🥰Good Vibes Monday️‼️Lisa Ferrell (right) with Jackson Law Firm in NLR kicked off our Monday on a good note by donating a beautiful two-story dollhouse to Division 14 for the circuit court kids' room. Clerk Terri Hollingsworth and Judge Shawn Johnson were thrilled to accept it! Since a courtroom can be scary for kids, this room is welcoming, with books, puzzles, and now a dollhouse for kids to play while their parents are in court.
