Our is Alissa❗She began working as the Fitness Director and Exercise Technician in Shelby Township in August 2018. She continued to hold both positions while attending OT school. In November 2023, Alissa became our company's first Occupational Therapist. She also continues to serve as the Fitness Director while her OT patient list expands. Alissa also just got married last month! 💍 We are so excited to celebrate her and the wealth of knowledge she brings to our Shelby-area patients.

Last week we featured Lynn, Doug's wife & “partner in crime”, so it is appropriate to ensure that we maintain a harmonious household and give a shout out to Doug in this week's . Doug began working as a Physical Therapist at our initial location in Rochester Hills in May 2001. Then, in March 2003, he opened Shelby Township as the owner and director. To assist the HealthQuest family, he created Concussion HQ, a sister company that focuses on concussions and offers baseline testing and post-injury testing and even trained many HQPT therapists.

Lynn started with us in October 2002 as a Physical Therapist at Shelby Township. Her husband, Doug, became the owner and director of Shelby in March 2003. She still treats in Shelby, but also helps on the coverage team. Together, they have 3 kids (a girl, twins, and a boy). The girls just graduated college this year and are looking forward to their next chapters as nurses! As a family, you'll find them boppin' around Michigan, exploring, and enjoying great food and drinks as a family!

We’re thrilled to announce this week's Therapist Spotlight. We love to celebrate the incredible talents and contributions of our team members 🎉 Jacob opened our newest facility in St. Clair at the end of May. He has been doing everything he can to connect in the community... he's even looking for a house to buy there! Jacob started in February 2017 as an Exercise Technician in Rochester. Then, from 2017-2021, he worked part-time at Rochester and Shelby while finishing school. He graduated in 2020 with his Doctorate of PT and started working as a PT in August 2021. He then moved to our coverage team to learn the ins and outs of how to run a clinic. Being on our coverage team, he was exposed to all 40+ of our locations, which are all independently owned by PTs. We are so excited to watch him grow and blossom in the St. Clair community ⭐
