We have an incredible paid opportunity for IMGs and FMGs looking to begin a residency program in 2026. We are looking for goal-oriented, motivated, and hardworking international medical graduates. Our mission is to educate recent foreign medical graduates and prepare them to become successful physicians in the United States.

We are an active outpatient cardiology practice in Tarzana, Los Angeles, California, which specializes in outpatient cardiology, interventional cardiology, and invasive electrophysiology. We are looking for IMGs who want to enhance their clinical skills by participating in all elements of the physician/patient experience, as well as the small details involved in running a private practice. As an IMG, you will be gaining invaluable clinical experience. We are also dedicated to assisting you with the preparation of your USMLE board exams and getting accepted to a residency program.

With the extensive knowledge and tremendous experience that you will obtain from our office, we strongly believe that you will have a tremendous edge when applying for residency. Our previous foreign medical doctors have all been placed in highly-competitive residency programs. After completing the program, past employees have received a strong letter of recommendation from a doctor who is a faculty member at the U.C.L.A. School of Medicine and has taught cardiology and internal medicine at Albert Einstein Medical School in New York City.

Our mission is centered on preparing you to match into a high-level residency program. We train students and foreign medical graduates and provide them with the opportunity to match into their desired residency programs.

Unlike postdoctoral research programs, we are mostly concentrated on providing hands-on clinical experience. While you work at this position, valuable research and publication opportunities will be available based on personal experience.

We would be able to enhance your skills in the following areas:
• Outpatient assessment and treatment planning
•All outpatient ultrasound procedures
•EKG interpretation
• Office and personnel management
• The creation and use of electronic medical records
• Research opportunities
• Interaction with medical students and other IMGs
• Training techniques for your USMLE preparation
• Assistance in preparing your application for residency
• Enhanced training for residency interviews

Need job security? Having a chance to return to work right after you take your test is priceless! The most commonly made mistake while preparing for your USMLE is to work and to study at the same time. We will provide you a dedicated study gap before taking the USMLEs.

This is an incredible opportunity to gain experience and add depth to your application! Finding a residency in the US is a challenging, costly, and sometimes painful process. According to the E-Newsletter for International Medical Graduates Pursuing Graduate Medical Education in the United States, Our success rate placing previous foreign medical graduate employees into residency programs is 100%!!!!!

We are looking for exceptional and dedicated people, who are serious about pursuing their goals and dream to be a physician in this country. You will gain valuable clinical experience and knowledge while studying for your USMLEs. In order to qualify for this incredible opportunity, we are looking for a minimum of a four-year commitment. We would be flexible in allowing you to take blocks of time off to study for your exams and to interview for residency positions.
If you feel that you are a great fit for these amazing opportunities and live within 30 miles of Tarzana, CA, please send us your resume.

A thank you card from two former students:

“Dear Dr. Ben-Zur,
Thank you so much for all that you’ve done for me this rotation. I really appreciate your teachings, guidance, and kindness. There was no doubt that you really cared about us. I’m really glad that you allowed me to interview/see patients my first week because now I am much more confident and less nervous when talking to patients. I know that I’ve made many mistakes along the way but you were always very forgiving and willing to encourage me despite that. I’m very happy to have rotated with you because I learned so much about cardiology, electrophysiology, nephrology, and surgery (with Dr. Lopez and Dr. Toomari) that I don’t think any other rotation would have given me. Thanks for setting up all of the lectures, teaching us about interview strategy, and letting us learn Echo, Ultrasound, and EKG. At the end, I’m so glad you pushed us as hard as you did.”
“I wish you great success always and may your practice continue to grow and change the lives of many.”

Our Heart to Yours 05/18/2021

Your blood is one of the keys to a healthy cardiovascular system. So, what causes unhealthy blood? One main cause (other than smoking) is when you consume food that contains fat, oil, salt, or cholesterol, it makes your blood move in a slower sludgy rate rather than clear normal flowing blood (page 20 –“Our Heart to Yours”). The debris of this sludge can just sit there in your vessels, some might harden up, creating blockages. The most powerful thing that can flush out this sludge-are the special molecular compounds, minerals, and nutrients that are in vegetables. We have seen many patients go from over ten medications down to none within four to six months! The reality is that you can take your life back by eating a strictly plant based diet.

Simple and Delicious Beet Greens 05/04/2021

Hello Everyone!

Browsing vegetable recipes can really help inspire you to stay on that health wagon! Comment YOUR favorite vegetable recipes below in the comment section of this post to share with us and inspire our community.

My heart beats for beets! I discovered every time I added some type of Beets to my vegetables, it always makes my vegetables come out super flavorful with a delicious sweetness! Just cooking with water. No salt and no oil needed. Vegetables are so flavorful on their own, even more-so when you add beets!

Beets are such a healthy root vegetable. They are very low in cholesterol and saturated fat. They are a very good source of dietary fiber, folate, and potassium. They are also a good source of vitamin C, B vitamins, iron and magnesium.

One great thing about Beets, is that there are different colors, each with a different taste experience. Another great thing about Beets is that you can eat the Beet greens/leaves that grow from it.

Beet greens are jam packed with vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin C, copper, potassium, manganese, vitamin B2, magnesium, vitamin E, fiber, and calcium. They are a very good source of iron, vitamins B1, B6, and pantothenic acid, as well as phosphorus and protein. These are all vital to your heart, digestive tract, normal nerve and muscle functions.
I found a recipe made with Beet Greens that is delicious!! Hopefully it will give you some more ideas on more recipes to make. Just remember to leave out the salt and oil. Check out the Beet Greens recipe here:

“Dear Dr. Ben-Zur,

Thank you so much for the opportunity to learn and develop during this rotation. I’ve gained a lot during these last couple weeks and this rotation surprised me in many ways! For instance, I did not know that you would say you eat broccoli for dessert! The patient and I had a good chuckle. :)

I’ve really enjoyed the patient encounters and I find myself pleasantly surprised by how fast I adjusted-taught me a thing or two about clinics. Best of all-one of the best, was the opportunity to learn ULTRASOUND. Really, really, one of the best things to happen on a rotation!!! I’ve really enjoyed myself during the ultrasound sessions.

The lectures are very very good also I enjoyed them. Thank you again for emphasizing student learning and development!
I’ve had a very pleasant experience and I really appreciate the things you’ve done for us. :)

Best wishes”
