Allowing groups like Magen Am and others to protect their community is important to ensuring public safety across the city. IDF soldiers have been protecting certain private schools and houses of worship across the city for decades. I can't recall any incidents at schools former soldiers protected. š¤

Officer Eleazar has been a dedicated member of the law enforcement community since October 8, 2001. Prior to becoming a police officer he served 11 years active duty in the US Coast Guard.
In March of this year, Officer Eleazar began experiencing severe stomach pain and internal bleeding due to hypertension medication he has began taking since 2011. His doctors conducted a endoscopy, which revealed ulcers in his upper GI tract. Despite treatment, the bleeding persisted.
On September 29, 2023, Officer Eleazar's gastroenterologist discovered a mass in his colon that was not only bleeding but also causing a significant blockage in his digestive tract, with strong indications that it might be cancerous. A biopsy was conducted, and we are currently waiting on results to determine the nature of the mass. Regardless of the outcome, the mass must be removed to prevent further life threatening complications.
On October 2, 2023, Officer Eleazar underwent surgery to remove the mass. The recovery period for this type of procedure is estimated to be around three months. Officer Eleazar has bravely served his community for many years, and now he finds himself facing not only health challenges but also financial burdens associated with his medical expenses. As his brothers and sisters in blue, we want to rally around him in his time of need.
Your donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in Officer Eleazar's life as he navigates this difficult journey. Every contribution will go towards covering his medical bills, treatment, and the support he needs during his recovery. Your support will provide him with peace of mind during this challenging time.
We appreciate your generosity and kindness in advance. Together, we can make a difference in Officer Eleazar's life and show him that he is not alone in this fight.
Thank you for standing with Los Angeles World Airports Police Officer Geramie Eleazar.
Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and colleagues to help us reach our goal and support Eleazar in his time of need.

Shame. Does it exist anymore? One suspect viciously pushed an 86-year-old woman out of a bus, spit on her, and left her lying on the ground with serious injuries. While the other suspect allegedly snatched her wallet and fled the scene. One suspect was arrested. LAPD is investigating and is searching for the other coward.
