Physical Therapy Multicultural Leadership Alliance PTMLA is a student organization within the University of Southern California Physical Therapy Program.
Our mission is to promote physical therapy as a profession to our community and promote diversity and cultural awareness within our field. We hope to achieve this by reaching out to the community via educational programs at high schools, providing physical therapy services in underprivileged communities worldwide, uniting communities from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and promoting leadership

Please join us next Tuesday 3/29 at 12:30 PM for our first in person General Body Meeting. We will meet outside in the big grassy area outside CHP! Bring your friends, blankets, and games! Pizza will be offered as first come first serve basis.
We will have many interesting topics including information about our Spanish Practice Session and community outreach opportunities! We will also be selling old PTMLA shirts!

Meet Dr. Winston Kennedy!
Winston is working towards his mission of improving access to physical activity for all. He’s the coordinator of Oregon State Multiple Sclerosis Exercise Program. He has served in the Cultural and Minority Affairs Committee for the Oregon Physical Therapy Association. And is the student liaison for the Disability Section of the American Public Health Association.
