Aside from providing the restaurant with fresh produce, our partners also help us maintain our status as a certified wildlife habitat through the National Wildlife Federation.
Take a closer look around, and you’ll see hummingbirds, butterflies, honey bees, and dozens of species of beneficial insects making the garden their home.
By growing native plants, using sustainable gardening practices, and providing food, water & shelter for our neighborhood wildlife, we aim to make our corner of DTLA just a little greener.

Introducing (and wishing a very happy belated birthday to) our new general manager, Niki!
If you’ve been to Manuela, you probably know Niki. She’s been with us from the very beginning, starting as our beverage director in 2016. She’s put in her dues over the years, running our bar program, working the floor, and of course helping us get through the complications and multiples closures all restaurants faced in 2020 & 2021.
We couldn’t be happier to have her steering the ship. We love ya, Niki!

The garden at Manuela is bursting with spring flavors. Take a look now and you’ll see peas, mixed kale, mustard greens, and a variety of edible flowers in full bloom.
As the weather gets warmer, you’ll start to see tomatoes & peppers, including Thai Dragons, White Habaneros, and Aji Dulces.
As we move into spring, we have the perfect wine for sipping on the terrace.
Ashkahn “Ivy Matise” is a pet nat of elegant proportions, with fruit from the Santa Maria Valley giving it a lovely, crisp quality from the salt flowing in through the coast. Texturally, the bubbles are flowing, and on pretty notes, this wine over delivers. The wine maker also creates his own labels, lending a fun approach to some seriously delicious wine.
Now live on the bottle list, be sure to check this one out before it’s gone!
