Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when the enslaved Americans in Texas learned they had been freed.

Our caregivers are deeply committed to improving access and quality of care in Black communities.

Our Providence Black Caregiver Resource Groups (BCRG), volunteer, employee-led affinity groups, assist the organization in honoring and elevating Black culture throughout the year. We are honored to support them as they highlight the contributions and voices of our Black caregivers in the community while spreading awareness of and its cultural impact.
