EH Taylor Straight Rye is perhaps one of the strangest labels produced at Buffalo Trace (or maybe Barton? More on that later). Great day today! Visited RD One and James Pepper distilleries in Lexington then Mama Tequila’s for dinner. Then hit Liquor Barn and their tasting bar

Got two 200ml with the bottle your own tasting at RD1 Chose an Apple Wood experimental barrel and cask strength version of their Amburana finish

Mama Tequila’s had Weller 12 for 19.99 for 1.5 ounce pour plus great food and margaritas

Then closed out the night at Liquor Barn Beaumont with 1 ounce ( actually 1.5 ounce ) pours of Penelope Tokaji Cask Strength, Michters Barrel Strength Rye, Little Book ‘Path Not Taken’, and Old Elk 10YO Wheat Whiskey barrel proof

Picked up the 200ml bottles at RD1, Pepper’s barrel strength small batch and then the Liquor Barn store pick Amburana 114 proof and the K**b Creek Bourye at Liquor Barn
