I celebrated my next big milestone as a yoga teacher by teaching yoga in Jamaica! 🇯🇲
With gratefulness to my teacher-extraordinaire, Laurie LeCompte of Yoga Baum Studio, I completed my CYT-300 certification. That means I have a total of 500 hours of learning how to teach diverse topics associated with the ancient holistic practice of yoga. Yoga has been my meditation-in-motion for over 30 years. It keeps me moving while calming my body and mind. It’s been a pleasure and privilege to be able to share my yoga practice with students for the last 7 years. Namaste yall!

Ralph’s last sunset was 10 years ago today. To honor him and feel his presence, I kayaked into the Atlantic this evening to watch the sunset from Marathon Key. Ralph loved open water. The Atlantic Ocean was his happy place. He went to sailing school in Annapolis and took online courses in NC to get his captain’s license. Ralph dreamed big and lived large. If he were alive today, he would either be leading fly-fishing expeditions at a ranch in Montana or sea-fishing charters off the North Carolina coast. I am forever blessed that I got to share life’s adventures with Ralph from the day we met in October, 1974 until his last breath in October, 2012. I still miss him every day, especially by the sea.

Starting this Saturday, you can join Megh for this awesome addition to our schedule! This class is great for people who are wondering if they are doing yoga poses effectively for their unique body. Great for beginners and experienced yogis alike, the longer pose holds in this class provide time for more feedback and individualized attention and allow students to build and practice with a strong foundation. Students interesting improving their body awareness, biomechanics, and foundations will love this class.

Ann's Ageless Yoga is moving outside for the summer! Join me on Mondays at 12:30 for Yoga Flow on the lawn beside the historic Peterson-Dumesnil House at 301 S. Peterson Avenue starting May 10th. I'll be there without my dogs!

Ann's Ageless Yoga is evolving to provide more yoga to you in new ways! Beginning February, 2021, I am pleased to offer private and semi-private yoga classes. I am restarting in-person yoga instruction at Yoga Baum, an inviting and Covid-safe studio in the St. Matthews neighborhood of Louisville, KY. Online classes will also be available for one or more yoga students and will be live-streamed at a time that works for you. My goal is to make yoga available to you when, where and how you want to practice it!

Try a one-on-one session or invite friends “in your bubble” to join you for a single class or a series. Or let me personalize a small group class for you and remote family members to share on Zoom. All yoga sessions will be tailored to meet your unique goals!
