It’s official....

REOPENING! Putting our man pants on. While we wouldn't have choose this...it choose us and we were forced to shut down, look around and a take a long breath. We've learned from what others are doing to keep employees and customers safe. While the store may look a little different, everything is really the same.

Dear Long and loving customers….

We are giving Michelangelo’s a little nap. She has been a part of the crazy downtown crowd for a long, long time. And while we created her space, you all gave her a soul.

We have temporarily closed the store so we don’t become a place where the virus could spread. You and your families deserve to have complete control over your exposure and while we can clean and scrub and bleach and disinfect we can not know what we can not see.

We will be thinking of all of you and imagining the day, in the next few weeks, when the doors open up wide again and that first customer walks in with a big ol’ smile on their face just so happy to see us.

The structure was designed by local architectural masters Claude and Starck and is a Madison landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Place...
