It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend, family, and Teddywedger's employee, Liam.

Liam's generosity, spirit, quick wit, musical talent, and huge heart will never be forgotten. The loss of this beautiful soul has shook our tightknit crew and we will miss our Liam dearly.

If you would to celebrate the life of Liam McCarty-Dick, funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2023, with a reception to follow, at the First Unitarian Society, 900 University Bay Dr., Madison. The family will receive friends the hour before the service.

Anthony and Carrie got married and we were able to pry Anthony out of the shop for a few days!

We'll be back this Wednesday to serve you up the goods 🖤

Double-fisting pasties???

Our special this week is fried cauliflower and waffles (vegan) and fried chicken and waffles.

Defrosting this morning with one of our hearty breakfast pies, the B2. Packed with egg, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, green peppers, and onion - comforting enough to make you forget it’s still snowing in March.

Our vegan pasties pack a punch…guess that’s why our windows keep getting smashed. Jokes aside, thanks for everyone’s support and patience this past week; we’re glad no one was injured.

As you pie lovers may know, March 14th is Pi Day. More than an excuse to eat pie, it’s an excuse to eat ALL the pie. Come on in for fresh baked apple crumble or chocolate hand pies or blueberry or pecan pie by the slice.

When you need a hearty breakfast that doubles as hand warmers…stay safe (and warm) out there today!

Check out this month’s : Teddywedgers! Now owned by Madision natives and brother-sister duo Anthony and Karima, this historic city staple has been serving delicious homemade pastries since 1976. Today, they serve a wide variety of savory breakfast, lunch, and dinner options for carry-out or delivery in addition to their famous pastries. Fun fact: Anthony, formerly a part of the True family, and his sister actually grew up eating Teddywedgers at the Overture Center while watching their Mom play the violin! Centered at the tip of State Street facing the Capitol, the beautiful restaurant is a welcome new presence in an old, familiar space. Stop in today and tell them the team at True says hello!
