Quail Hill has provided the best in open natural settings with planned outdoor activities for over forty years. Our Day Camp program is set up to offer various activities based on several different program areas, including Pool, STEM, Nature, Pond, Games, BB & Archery, and outdoor skills. Campers are divided into groups based on their age. These groups attend different areas on a varying daily rotation. All activities are planned to ensure that they are age-appropriate. Our primary focus during Day Camp is FUN.

Whether you’re a Cub Scout, Scouts BSA member, Sea Scout, Venturer or Explorer, we say thank you! We say thank you if you joined scouting to get outdoors and go camping, hiking, sailing, backpacking or whitewater rafting. There was a question posed about MB Councilors camping if they are only registered as a MB Councilor. The below is from the Guide to Safe Scouting and the attachment has the same information that I highlighted in yellow.
All adults staying overnight in connection with a Scouting activity must be currently registered as an adult volunteer or an adult program participant. Adult volunteers must register in the position(s) they are serving in. Registration as a merit badge counselor position does not meet this requirement. See FAQ for list of approved adult registration fee required positions. Limited exception below for Cub Scout overnight Programs.
Any questions please contact Bob or I ..

Monmouth Council’s NYLT Program is a week-long resident camping experience that will equip youth with the leadership skills that Scouting programs promise. It is taught by youth for youth . . . with adult supervision and encouragement. Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Sea Scouts members are encouraged to develop their abilities to lead both during NYLT and back at their units. What participants gain in this program will also help them for the rest of their lives.https://www.monmouthbsa.org/nylt-dates
Leaders:
If you are not aware, BSA has started using Safety Moments at the beginning at all scouting events. I know some of the districts have adopted them, but I am asking that every district adopt the practice at the beginning of all district meetings and events. It only takes 2 minutes, and will help set the tone for a safe environment! Arron on Scouting did a great article on this topic. https://blog.scoutingmagazine.org/2018/12/28/bsa-safety-moments-offer-one-page-advice-on-dozens-of-scouting-topics/
And to make it even easier, BSA has already come up with a wide variety of topics for every situation. https://www.scouting.org/health-and-safety/safety-moments/
Please let me know if you have any questions, and please take this seriously. Safety is and always should be our number one priority, and this is a simple way of leading by example. I strongly encourage you to incorporate safety moments into your Commissioner meetings and Roundtable’s.
As always, thank you for your time and dedication to the program.

Happy National STEM Day! There’s no way around it: children are significantly better off with solid science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics skills. The Cub Scout program has STEM activities in many of the adventures that the Scouts complete. Congratulations to Troop 82's newest Eagle Scouts.
As Giving Tuesday is fast approaching, we need your continued support to fuel Scouting’s important mission of building character, instilling citizenship and encouraging physical fitness. Today, more than ever, Scouting has so much to teach young people about personal responsibility, kindness and service for the common good. The magic of character development happens through our programs, summer camps, and community service projects. We need your help to make this happen! You can make your tax-deductible gift today or on Giving Tuesday. www.monmouthbsa.org/GT2023
