Somehow this adorable little video reminded me of our devotional after REFIT tonight. It was beautiful.

Thessalonians 1:11 ... May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.

We talked about how we don't need to be superhuman and try to live up to the expectations placed on us by ourselves (or others) that are unreasonable or unattainable.

We talked about how God made us and knows our "frame" and what we can hold and do. We are to do with best with what he has given us. He knows our bodies that are made of flesh and blood will certainly fail us, but some day He will give us indestructible resurrected bodies!

Our frames will return to dust ... This hopeful truth allows us to draw strength from the only superhuman.

Our devotional reminded us that His strength is ours when we lean upon Him.

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers this week for my rotator cuff surgery! Doc says it went perfectly (one completely torn off tendon)! Had some really tough times the first two days, but then dropped the Oxycodone ans switched to 800mg ibuprofen. 👍

I couldn't have done this week without my favorite REFIT DUDE, Joshua Lee!🦸🏼‍♂️💞 First check up is on Friday (followed by a dentist appointment ... Weee!) 🤣👍

There will be no class tonight, but we plan to be there next Monday night at 7pm! My friends will be leading all their favorite dances for me! Come check it out!
