Ms. Courtney's class is focusing on the concept of Being A Star by embracing anti-bullying measures and fostering a culture of kindness, love, and equality. Our members are learning the significance of exhibiting these traits from an early age.

Ms. Kee is leading her group of stars to excel during Be A Star! Through the practice of positive affirmations, they are fostering a supportive environment and speaking positivity into their lives and those of their peers.

Guided by Mrs. Sharon, our students are developing a passion for mathematics and honing their critical thinking skills during Smart Girls and Money Matters. Their excitement is evident as they embrace this new experience!

We are excited to announce that Mr. Antwon has joined the PAH team! He is implementing Passport to Manhood and is already making a difference in the lives of our young men. His ability to shape their thought processes and guide them towards success is a valuable asset to our program.

Club members enjoyed a variety of team-building activities, including creating chalk drawings and competing in limbo challenges, which provided a fun and engaging way to build relationships and strengthen the club's sense of community.

The club is delighted to welcome back its esteemed members! To ensure their success in the upcoming academic year, we have provided them with backpacks and essential school supplies.

Our club members have been relentless in their pursuit of creativity. Recently, they designed and wore their own tie-dye shirts and explored the world of dream catchers, all while showcasing their passion for art through discussions of the Brooks Museum's collection.

Yesterday's Camp Phoenix event taught us the power of teamwork. Challenges were overcome through unity and cooperation, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved and demonstrating the effectiveness of working together towards a common goal.

Club members enjoyed a hot day at The Memphis Botanic Garden! They toured Tropical Treasures which is the rainforest. They learned about various plants and and their origins. They were able to sample some of nature's goodness and bring a plant back with them. SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR VOLUNTEERS from Macy's!! They were extremely helpful in this heat wave. What an exciting, fun filled day of learning at The Brooks Museum! Our club members had the opportunity to have guided tours at the museum and even have lunch on the patio! They saw various paintings, sculptures, and other forms of artwork. Club members created their own artwork. And they still had energy to have a dance contest when we returned to our site. Your child should be here! It's a whole lot going on 🥴😊

Field trip to the CMOM! The members had an awesome time at the Children's Museum. They had an extremely fun filled, active day of camp. Your child should be here!

Club members played corn hole and created clocks to show the time for Money Matters. They also did floor stretches and played the focus game telephone to see if the information would be the same from the first student to the last. Another great day of camp...your child should be here!!

The club members had a sweet treat today when the ice cream truck out! Money Matters was incorporated in with this treat. Students had to add up their items and count their change. 🍦🍦

Happy Juneteenth, freedom day! Our club members discussed what the significance of Juneteenth is and created arts and crafts, solved word crossword puzzles, and completed word search puzzles on yesterday. Also, our older students completed community service by picking up trash, to help beautify our facility around the outside. BGCM...YOUR CHILD SHOULD BE HERE!!

A yummy 😋 Monday treat! Chef Club baked a homemade strawberry 🍓 poundcake and enjoyed eating it afterwards. Club members learned about measuring cups and spoons and the proper procedure for making a cake. Your child should be here! Only $50 for the summer ☀️

Our first field trip of the Summer! The club members enjoyed themselves at the Pink Palace on Friday. They viewed the movies in the planetarium, Constellations and Astronauts. They toured the museum and learned fun facts about geology and other historical events. In the kidzone they were able to touch the exhibits, play and build structures. Your child should be here!!

Another awesome day of learning during camp! For Money Matters, club members used the grocery sale paper to create a shopping list and decide how much money they would need. Also, members created Father's Day cards. For Triple Play, club members played water tic tac toe and team building relay races. The members enjoyed trying to get the balls in the buckets. Older club members received tennis lessons on today. It's not as easy as it looks 😊😁

Insect Investigators! Our STEM lesson today were centered around insects. Our members enjoyed looking through microscopes viewing different insects, then going outside to see if they could see any of the insects, and lastly drawing pictures of the insects they discovered. Also, the club members used rulers to measure how much growth their plants had from last week. Your child should be here! There's still time to sign up for the summer $50

Our All Stars had a fun filled day and so did the facilitators! From swinging on the swings, to team building exercises and games, musical chairs, relay races with a twist, and Simon says the students were excited about each activity. Water, Water everywhere! Water Day was a hit on this hot day. They couldn't wait to pour water on me.
