Memphis City Council votes on two crucial referendums on November 21 - urge them to vote YES! bit.ly/DemIntegrity901
Bringing back run-off elections will ensure that our local elected officials are truly representing our community. Introducing the partisan primaries will enhance the transparency of candidates and their political alignment. If the Council approves the referendums, we will have the opportunity to vote on them in the election next August, and make our voices heard.

The Council meets 24 times a year, open to the public, typically on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at City Hall. They elect a chair and vice-chair, form committees, and hold legislative powers, creating and passing laws that impact the city.
