The Historic Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church was founded in the early winter months of 1901 by the late Reverend McQuinn. L. In 2006, the Reverend A. J.
In 1959, the legendary Reverend E. McKinney became pastor, serving for over 46 years until his death in 2006. Williams was elected to follow Reverend E. McKinney. He served as pastor for 14 years. On Sunday, March 6, 2022, Reverend Trenady Phillips, Associate Minister, Greater New Liberty Baptist Church, became the 21st pastor of the 121-year-old Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church. This year's theme, "Getting Back to Basics: Love God, Love Each Other, Love the Word."
