We are Memphians that Expose our youth to Magnificent Possibilities and Help Inspire Success.
We are grateful Dr. Minhae Cho reach out to us and recognized the work our organization is doing in the Greater Memphis area. Her research as a University of Memphis professor is awesome and we are honored to be part of the conversation. wearememphismade.com
welcomes Dr. Terrell (Terri) Cheatham-Carpenter, DNP, FNP-BC, to our Board. With 27 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Carpenter has excelled in family practice and community service.
Dr. Carpenter’s journey began as a high school volunteer. She holds a BSN from Tennessee State University, an MSN from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and a DNP from Union University. In 2015, she founded Carpenter Primary Healthcare (CPH), which has received multiple awards for its excellent patient care.
Her community involvement includes serving on the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Emotional Well-Being & Economic Burden Research Network (EMOT-CON), Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the NAACP. She has also been a mentor for Minority Women Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE).
Dr. Carpenter is married to Ken Carpenter and has two adult children and one grandson. She is dedicated to her church, enjoys reading, jogging, and volunteering.
We are honored to have Dr. Carpenter join our Board, bringing her extensive experience and passion for community service to Memphis Made Mentors.

Memphis Made proudly led a session at the 2024 Breakthrough Community Violence Intervention, focusing on collective efforts against the violence crisis in Memphis. Breakthrough unites community groups and stakeholders, featuring insights from national and local leaders, to explore proven strategies for violence reduction and foster life-saving collaborations. Special thanks to Memphis Allies Youth Villages, Mayors Paul Young and Lee Harris and the dedicated organizations tirelessly working on the ground. The opportunity to share and learn from such impactful entities was invaluable, and we’re excited about future partnerships aimed at building a safer, stronger Memphis.

2024 is a new year that has brought new ideas and new visions for Memphis Made Mentors. We have partnered with Hanley PreK-8 Academy to expand our program and community impact. Today we met with a group of the middle school students for a very exciting day of doughnuts, fun, conversation, laughter, enlightenment, and dialogue.
We are registered with all Memphis SCS schools as volunteers, which means we can have these events across the city of Memphis. In 2024, we are seeking;
1. Two or three other schools to partner with.
2. Positive male role models to assist with mentoring.
Please contact us for any questions or recommendations!

One thing Memphis Made doesn't do is hold on to plugs….we share…..and is a plug we recommend to any and every non profit organization in Memphis!
Earlier this year, their team of professional web developers, graphic designers, social media strategists, digital marketers, and data scientists donated their time and expertise to help us improve our website, literature design, and marketing strategy. Their commitment to nonprofit organizations like ours is truly inspiring, and we are grateful for the millions of dollars in services they have provided to hundreds of nonprofits through the GiveCamp program.
