Skylar got her heartworm shot last Friday and she is doing great!!! Here she is with one of her sisters. Skylar is still looking for that furever home! Please help with her treatment costs and/or finding a home!!

Skylar went to the vet today for her next heartworm treatment. She is such a sweet, happy girl. She was so excited to see everyone at Germantown Parkway Animal Hospital .

We still need donations to get her through her treatments. Skylar has been with us for over 8 months. It took several months for her laser therapy to heal her severely injured knee and now she is getting treated for heartworms.

We just received an urgent plea to help this dog who is located in Memphis.

It is no fun and games when you end up in a cone...again. Skylar is back in a cone for only a couple of days instead of several months.

While out walking Skylar, I noticed she all of a sudden started to limp. I looked down and saw Skylar's dewclaw was broken and bleeding.

Germantown Parkway Animal Hospital took great care of Skylar today. She got her dewclaw clipped, cleaned up, and bandaged. She got antibiotics, pain meds, and the cone!

She is definitely a good sport and resting comfortably.

We will be making another trip to GPAH next week for her next round of heartworm treatment.

Skylar has gone through so much already, but she still is happy and enjoying life!

Lady got her stitches removed and we were able to have her sit still for a pretty picture!

She still needs to be spayed! We are still needing donations to cover the costs.

Remember Levi? The Savior Foundation covered Levi's medical treatment, including an FHO. We received a photo from his mom. Levi is gorgeous and happy! We love this pup! He is precious inside and out!

Lady had her surgery today. She has a slight break in her jaw, which damaged the blood supply to the surrounding teeth. As a result, Lady had a terrible infection causing swelling and problems with her jaw.

Dr. Angie Zinkus removed the three bad teeth and the jaw was able to be realigned without needing plates or wires to pull it together!.

Some swelling has even gone down already. Now, her jaw will naturally heal itself and her infection will clear up. Lady can't have any hard food or toys while she is healing.

This is such wonderful news!! Everyone is so happy. Lady will go back in one month for follow-up xrays to make sure she is healing appropriately. She will also get spayed and get her preventative meds.

We loved on Lady after her vet appointment at Germantown Parkway Animal Hospital.

Lady had to be sedated to get very clear dental and head x-rays. Lady has a broken jaw in her lower left mandible. She also has two badly infected teeth in the same area. Because of the severe break, her jaw gets "stuck" on those teeth when she moves her jaw. She paws at it to unstick it.

She is scheduled to have the two teeth removed and attach the two pieces of the jaw bone together with plates or wires depending on which is required during surgery.

Lady does not have heartworms or any intestinal parasites are worms!! She will be rechecked for HWs in 6 months. We hope she is still clear.

We are providing her the best care and really need donations. Please send them directly to The Savior Foundation is paying for her medical treatment.

Lady is so precious!! We got to meet her today at Germantown Parkway Animal Hospital. She is a sweetheart and everyone loves her!! Love those ears!!

She is getting picked up soon and we will learn more about her condition. Lady will definitely need surgery, so all donations are very much appreciated.

Lady is saved from MAS!!! It took a village to protect and help this sweet pup!

Lady has a broken jaw and sat at MAS for almost 2 weeks in pain without any pain medication. Her bio was not even posted when we were contacted. An animal advocate angel contacted us and we jumped into action! Other angels jumped also jump in to help!!

An awesome foster, Rebecca Cunningham, jumped in and took Lady into her home! The Savior Foundation will cover all medical expenses! Donations are very welcome and appreciated, so we can give her everything she needs for repairing her jaw, spaying, heartworm treatment, etc.

Does anyone own a cane corso or know of someone who does? I have a friend who has one and is looking for someone with the same interest in the breed.

Skylar and Nika had to have a quick drink from the rain barrel. We are prepping for the storm tonight. I will have 4 animals clinging to me later.
