She earned her doctorate in educational leadership with the hopes of founding her own school. However, instead of starting a school, she began teaching at the college level to train students to become teachers. After years of teaching at several colleges and universities, Dr. Terrell has come to ALLMemphis, where she can continue to change the world – one student at a time. Welcome aboard!

📚 His favorite genre is non-fiction and informational.

📚 His summer reading list includes: 7 Mighty Moves by Lindsay Kemeny; The Art and Science of Teaching Primary Reading by Christopher Such; and The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg.

📚 His favorite part about working at ALLMemphis is the ability to help change the educational landscape in Memphis by helping teachers across the city teach literacy instruction to fluidity.

Meet Elizabeth Collins, one of ALLMemphis’ program specialists!

📚 Her ideal reading environment is curled up on her couch with a dramatic fiction.

📚 Growing up, she loved reading Eric Carle books with her mom.

📚 She enjoys forming relationships with school leaders, teachers and students. She thinks there is no greater joy than when a student runs up to her and says, "Ms. Elizabeth, can I read the decodable book to you?"

As students go on summer break, there’s a risk they may lose valuable reading skills they established in the classroom. That's why Dr. Krista Johnson and her team of experienced and credentialed Science of Reading instructors are offering private, multisensory summer tutoring sessions!

📚 First through third-grade students will receive two 55-minute, one-on-one sessions per week (12 sessions total) and can choose between Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday.
📚 The sessions run from June 3-July 12. The six-week session is $1,150 per student.
📚 They will take place at ALLMemphis' office in Crosstown Concourse (1350 Concourse Avenue, Suite 434, Memphis, TN 38104).
