Day 6 : PTO supports the REEF fund yearly, which supports students who need extra support through our intervention tutoring. We are never not looking for efforts to fill in gaps to assure each student has the support they need to succeed!

REDHAWK FAMILY!
We are so near to reaching our PTO Annual Giving Campaign fundraiser goal and getting our admin team in the dunk tank! We have decided to extend our Annual Giving Campaign through September 8 to hopefully achieve these goals!!

Our AGC committee will have a tent after school next Friday, September 6. You’ll be able to donate and receive AGC apparel gift items or make direct donations to class incentive goals to help your students. They will also be accepting cash!

GRANDHAWK PICNIC UPDATE!

We had a typo on the date for the deadline for the Grandhawk Swag order, which should have been Friday, August 23. The QR code will no longer work because the google form has been closed. We had to place the order for the blankets and shirts last Friday. I apologize for this typo and the confusion it has caused! There could be a few extra at the picnic, but a limited amount. I do believe our spirit wear team plans to have the shirt listed as an option in our apparel shop and we should have the link available at the picnic to grab a Grandhawk shirt if our typo cause a missed deadline!

If you haven’t seen already, on September 8th PTO is hosting an inaugural Grandhawks picnic on the front lawn. Bring your own picnic, chairs if you want, and enjoy time with your grandchildren. PTO will provide a craft and sliced watermelon.

What a fun Friday at Richland! We had our first General PTO Meeting this morning where we got a surprise serenade from a new face seen around our school — incredible! Read the minutes on our website to find out what you missed 🤩📝

It was also our first INCENTIVE FRIDAY where students received their first 2 levels of incentives. If they had at least $50 or at least $100 by LAST Friday they got….

We have an easy dinner for you to grab, all while supporting PTO. Come to Chick-Fil-A on Summer, order on the app, and enjoy and easy Tuesday night dinner. Dine in or take it to your activities you might have!

Our RedHawks will start receiving AGC incentives this Friday! Every week, two more incentives will be released. If your student’s class has hit that donation goal by the previous Friday, they will get their gifts on release date!

The Annual Giving Campaign is off to a great start! Thanks to everyone who has already donated - we love seeing everyone in their Camp Richland shirts! 🌳

Class incentive prize distribution will start next Friday, Aug 16. Classes that have raised $50 by tomorrow (Aug 9) will get a Richland water bottle decal and classes that have raised $100 (also by tomorrow) will get a decal AND an Out of Uniform pass on August 16. Incentive distribution will continue each Friday until Sept 13.

Gear Up Day is in full swing at Richland! We are here until 2:00 today and again from 4:30-6:30, offering “Camp Richland” themed merchandise and uniform-approved tops & swag for sale (with special bundle package discounts today only!), info about clubs, answers to all your PTO questions, PTO member signups, yearbook early-bird orders, donations of gently-used uniforms, and so many happy smiles while greeting new and returning students back into the building! Parents & students may drop school supplies and say a quick “hello” to their teacher between 5:30-6:30pm. Redhawks, come out and see us!! And be sure to look out for Ricky!🐦‍🔥
