Today is the day! Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast at Blacksmith until 10:30! Don’t worry, we’ve got heaters! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🔥🔥 See you soon!
Last week, we gathered at the Jackson Chamber to stuff 420 backpacks for The Read Team’s Summer backpack program. These backpacks are full of books, toys, and treats and will be sent home with 2nd graders this summer from Andrew Jackson, Arlington, Isaac Lane, Alexander, Lincoln, and Rose Hill.
The Kiwanis Club uses its proceeds from our annual pancake breakfast to help fund this program. Our pancake breakfast is this Saturday April 8th from 8AM-10:30AM at The Blacksmith. We will see you there! If you are unable to be there and want to make a donation, reach out to a member of the club!
We would like to send a special Thank You to our Butter and Syrup level sponsors for next weekend’s pancake breakfast. Thank you to Master Medical Equipment, High Point Logistics, Ragan Realty Group, and Mid-South Retina Associates.
And as always.. Thanks to The Blacksmith for their willingness to host, supply, and cook the breakfast for us.
We couldn’t do it without your support.
See you Saturday! Tickets are only $5 at the door.
We enjoyed hearing from Kyle Spurgeon and Lindsay Dawkins of Greater Jackson Chamber at Kiwanis Club of Jackson yesterday. We are excited about the future of Jackson and West Tennessee!

Thanks to Bryce West with the Marine Corps League for coming to speak to us yesterday. Every December, Bryce comes and tells us about the Toys For Tots program that helps provide toys for kids in our community.
And thanks to our members who donated toys!
Today was an exciting day at Kiwanis Club of Jackson! We installed Charles Watlington as our President. This is Charles’ second term (35 years after his first term)!
We also installed Courtney Bowen as our Vice President.
We are excited to have them leading us forward as we continue to grow our club and serve the Jackson community.
Also a special thank you to James A. Christoferson for serving as president over the last year. You did a wonderful job and will be a tough act to follow!
