Ski Freeze - Memphis

With it freezing outside, it is only appropriate to give you an update on Ski Freeze 2024! Even though we were not able to ski, we were able to raise — over $30,000.00!

With this money, we will be able to grant Branson’s dream AND MORE! Thank you so much for all your help and donations!

We were holding onto a hope and a prayer, but unfortunately, due to the low water levels, we likely won’t be able to ski tomorrow. But like Rocky said, “It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.” So the show much go on!

The Ski Freeze will still start tomorrow at 11:00 AM! We will have lots of activities, a silent auction, AND help grant a dream! We can’t wait to see everyone!

FIRST SKI FREEZE 2024 DONATION

Members from the Collierville Ski Club presented the Dream Factory with a $5,000 donation to kick off fund raising for Ski Freeze 2024. This will be the 36th year that the Collierville Ski Club has chosen the Dream Factory to benefit from the Ski Freeze.

PARIS' LEAVES TO MEET MICKEY AND MINNIE

Yesterday (3/11), Paris and her family departed Memphis International for her Dream Trip to visit Disney World and other Orlando Theme Parks. Since their family had never flown before, two Dream Factory volunteers met and guided them through the check-in/security process during peak Spring Break travel.

We are excited to report that Ski Freeze 2023 was a perfect 70° and sunny!

Near record net revenues were just shy of $24,000, enough to fulfill about five (5) dreams to critically and chronically ill children in the Mid-South. Ski Freeze 2023 is hours away. We can't wait to see you tomorrow morning. If you have not registered, you can do so at the event starting at 10:30AM. Be there to hear the Memphis and Southern Thunder HOGs Chapters riding in for their annual N.Y.D. ride as they rattle the windows downtown.

Come down and meet TN's native NHRA Top Fuel Driver, Clay Millican from the Parts Plus Team. He'll be on hand to meet, greet and take photos.

The FAITH Riders from Hickory Withe will have coffee & hot chocolate plus the Dixie Swine BBQ Team will have hot dogs & burgers. No purchase necessary...your donation is graciously accepted.

Last year's event was cancelled due to severe weather, but this year it looks perfect.

WMC-TVs First Alert Weather is forecasting sunny skies, 68 degrees temperatures, which are a perfect combination to ring in 2023 skiing the Wolf River Channel on Mud Island, Memphis, TN.

Register online at www.skifreeze.com or register in-person at 10:30AM. Skiing will begin at 11:00AM. Whether you are a participant or spectator, it will be great fun.

Paris is a 12-year-old from Cordova, TN diagnosed with Rhett Syndrome, Epilepsy and Cerebral Palsy. Proceeds from this year’s Ski Freeze will be used to grant her Dream to visit Disney World in Orlando, FL.

She really loves Disney characters, especially Minnie and Mickey Mouse. Although she is non-verbal, her eyes lit up and her beautiful smile told us immediately that Disney was truly Her Dream.

On March 13, 2023, Paris and her family will board a flight from Memphis to spend 7-day/6-nights in this magical destination.
