Who else will be at the BBF? , author of THE WHISPER NETWORK and THE HUSBANDS. Her books have been selected by Good Morning America’s book club AND Reese’s Book Club. April 9th can’t get here fast enough!

Author announcement: YA author Jennifer Mathieu will be joining us! If her book was good enough to have Amy Poehler to make into a movie, it’s good enough for you to leave your house and check out on April 9th.

Time for another author announcement! Matt de la Peña will be joining us at the BBF! This Newbery Medal winner wrote several children’s classics as well as some gripping YA titles. And rumor has it some mariachis straight out of MIGUEL AND THE GRAND HARMONY might be joining him!

Ready to get fancy with Nancy? Writer Jane O’Connor and illustrator Robin Preiss Glasser will be joining us for at the BBF! Tag a friend whose kiddos would love to throw on a boa to meet Robin and Jane! (Costumes encouraged!)

Who’s going to be at the festival? Let’s start with award-winning author Chris Barton! Chris is the Sibert Honor-winning author of picture books including The DAY-GLO BROTHERS, SHARK VS. TRAIN and FIRETRUCK VS. DRAGON. His book WHOOSH! LONNIE JOHNSON’S SUPER-SOAKING STREAM OF INVENTIONS has bern included on multiple state reading lists. We are so excited to welcome Chris Barton to the Basin Book Festival!

In honor of Valentine’s Day, tell us your favorite literary couple! We ship Anne and Gilbert forever.

What are your fireside reads today? Is sampling of what we’ve been reading the last couple of weeks…it’s been hot streak of good fiction, but give us some more titles while it’s cold outside!
