This Generation UPC church

Since it’s my wedding anniversary I thought I would deal with the topic of marriage. I get the question, “What is the key to a successful marriage?” The standard answer is constant communication and work to nurture the relationship. But for those of you out there who have been married a while let me voice what I believe is the most common way we feel. I really don’t think much about or work at it. It’s like breathing. I don’t wonder about my arm or hand, they are both there as usual. I don’t think much about how hard it is to be me, just comes naturally. We are one flesh, one person, formed by two.

Now apply that to your faith.

Enjoyed time with our Dads this Friday evening, but we are not done. Let's celebrate our Dad's this Sunday at 10:30 am. Evangelist Preston Plemons will be with us.

What a wonderful night of celebrating our dads! Thank you to everyone for coming out and spending time in fellowship. Congratulations to all these dads who won awesome prizes! 🎉

Acts 17:6 contains this phrase, "These that have turned the world upside down." Ground zero is the epicenter of violence and upheaval. It is from here that power is unleashed outward. Ground zero is the child of God awakened. To turn our world upside down we must first have our own world shaken. The reality is God is turning our world right side up. It is only then that we can change our world. Would you join with us this summer and become the epicenter of change?

Wednesday evening we will not be having our usual Bible study. Our entire church family will be celebrating the life of Danny Deleon at Mayberry Funeral Home at 6:00PM.
