You can hear a loud Shhh but as you can tell none heard it and reacted when it occurs.
This EVP (2013 Midland, TX) is in a location where the home owners reported strange things happening near one particular bedroom. A paint can, the small quart size with a lid, popped open and spewed pain all over. Can was still upright when they found it with lid off. This EVP is from the bedroom next to this closet. (around to 9 sec mark is the EVP)

This is the bedroom where there was the most EVP activity. Our more sensitive investigator had a lot of personal experiences here as well. This is where the Grandfather passed away. The EVP's ranged from male to female sounds. The weird hack/cough EVP's might have been related to the illness he had.
Here is an another example of empty room EVP. This one is unique to say the least. What do you think of it?
This next EVP was an often heard noise when the recorder was alone in the bedroom. No one ever heard a similar noise during the investigation.
This EVP you can hear a whisper. We do not whisper in group as that can lead to misidentifying EVP's.

A great night at the Myrtles last night, from my daughter having an encounter to an EVP, to waking up at 3:30am to footsteps walking around our room.
If you ever get the chance, check this place out, the staff is fantastic and the accommodations are out of this world. (And the ghosts are fun too!)
Night time investigation continues, one EVP so far and Ellie got her hair pulled. Great place so far!
