2024 Modesto Memorial Classic

Online registration closes today (Thursday) at 4pm. If you miss this deadline, you can register on Friday 2-6 pm at packet pickup at the ShadowChase office located at 1325 11th St . You can also register on race day. Race day registration closes at 7:45am. It is best to register at packet pickup

If you can't join our morning run on Global Running Day. Join us at Fleet Feet in the evening. Only a $5 fee. Refreshments will be served,

Global Running day is just around the corner. Join us Wednesday morning for a Running/Waling Scavenger Hunt.

We will have them for sale at the packet pick up for the Modesto Memorial Classic at the ShadowChase office, Friday May 24th, 1325 11th st from 2pm until 6pm and race day May 25th at the East La Loma Park, ShadowChase booth. $15 each. Modesto Memorial Classic Walk/Run is coming up quickly. Looks like we are solid for volunteers Friday but need help Saturday, May 25th from 6am and 11am. Let us know if you can help! Volunteers get a free pancake breakfast provided by the Vet Center! Can't beat a free pancake breakfast!

TRM students awarded $16,000
The ShadowChase Running Club of Modesto, which puts on the Modesto Marathon, is pleased to announce it is awarding $16,000 in college scholarships this year to deserving participants of the Teens Run Modesto (TRM) program. Four students have earned the highest award of $2,500 each! Several of our applicants have participated in TRM for six years, starting with training for the half marathon in junior high and continuing on to run the full 26.2 mile marathon as high school students. Needless to say we are proud of their dedication and commitment to the program and the leadership skills many have exhibited. We are thankful to all of our sponsors, especially our title sponsor, Sutter Health, as well as our mentors, coaches and volunteers, who make this program a success.

Be sure to register to guarantee you will receive a shirt in your size.

The deadline to register and receive a 2024 Memorial Classic t-shirt is May 14. So don't delay if you want to be stylin' in this year's fashion. (The shirt is not red. That's from 2023). There's a 1-mile and 5K walk/run. Both are in East La Loma Park, May 25. Finishers' medals to all. Each paid registration also includes a pancake breakfast.
