The Slime Trend is back, our club members dived into the gooey, glittery world of SLIME MAKING! ๐คฉ๐ฉโ๐ฌ๐จโ๐ฌ
From mixing mesmerizing colors to stretching and squishing their unique creations, the kids had an absolute blast! ๐๐๏ธ The room was filled with laughter, creativity, and a whole lot of slime!

๐โจ Our Water Ecology Mural is a splash of creativity and conservation. ๐ง๐ฟFrom vibrant sunrises to precious sea life ๐, every stroke tells a story about the importance of preserving these precious habitats and the effects single use plastics has on our environment, especially our ocean life. ๐๐ฑ This mural, made entirely from recycled water bottles, will be on permanent display at our teen center, The Club.
Huge thanks to all the talented student artists who shared their creativity and Paul Harmon at MoArt Academy for facilitating this masterpiece. ๐ผ๏ธโจ

Last week Assembly Member Juan Alaniz toured the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stanislaus Countyโs teen center, The Club. The Club is a space within the Boys & Girls Clubs created especially for teens - club membership is open for enrollment and availalbe for 6th-12th grade students.
During the tour, our President and CEO, Craig Orona not only shared the resources and activities that are currently available at The Club, including a makerโs space with access to a 3-D printer, he shared plans to renovate the outside into a dynamic and engaging recreational space for our Club Kids. Craig also talked about the importance of collaboration, and our valuable partnership with First Tee.

Our Story
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County is an after-school and summer youth enrichment organization that provides quality educational, leadership, and character building programs in positive settings for youth ages 6-18. Club membership is only $10 per child per year.
We strive to be the premier youth service program in Stanislaus County. We partner and collaborate with local school districts to provide a safe place for children during after school hours while providing literacy assistance and an opportunity to explore various areas of the arts, leadership, health and wellness, and education. This is a place where great futures begin!
Opportunities to build new skills that raise each childโs belief that he or she can succeed and receive recognition for personal accomplishments.
Ongoing relationships with caring adults and connections to new friends in a positive environment, reinforcing a sense of belonging, personal accountability, civility and civic responsibility.
Generation-changing programs that support a commitment to learning, positive values, healthy habits and high expectations for success as an adult.
