7 Meetings Party and Apprentice Graduation was a great success!
To start the celebration off, Local 41 recognized John Jackson. A 50 year member of LiUNA. Some history of John's career was shared. Then, John was presented with his Gold Member Card.
The party is held for Members that attend 7 meetings throughout the year and to recognize the Apprentices that graduate the program. Local 41 believes in the strength of our Apprenticeship and the Apprentices that complete it. A total of 43 members are now Journey Workers.
Congratulations to John and the members that graduated the Apprenticeship!
Bridges' Scoreboard is one of our top restaurants to cater our Union Meetings, Apprentice Orientation, or classes we host. The food has always been good and the service is reliable. Scott, one of the owners, has recently been diagnosed with cancer. A fundraiser has been set up to help cover some of the costs. Bridges' Scoreboard has always been a friend of Local 41.
