Napa Old Town Neighborhood Association
The voice for Napa's oldest residential neighborhood.
Time to enjoy the neighborhood and discover the old with the new, magnolias and lilys, and check out what your neighbors have planned for their spring offerings
It has been awhile since I last posted images of our beautiful neighborhood. Winter light offered a beautiful opportunity to see the homes with the trees empty of leaves. Now that spring has sprung, we have a new look upon us. Get out for a stroll, enjoy our beautiful neighborhood, and meet your neighbors. A couple of the homes are on the adjacent streets of the Abajo.
Welcome back Porchfest! Aren't we lucky to be able to share our neighborhood with so many people. Here are a few moments taken with my cell phone, in between helping my granddaughter's with their lemon aide stand. What a great Sunday with wonderful neighbors, friends, and thanks to all the musicians who made the day special.
Are you ready for Porchfest? Celebrate the Abajo Old Town this Sunday!
Our neighborhood is meant for walking, if you don't trip over the sidewalks. Get out and discover! Spring is beautiful in our Abajo neighborhood!
Spring is wonderful in our neighborhood!

Say hello to your neighbors on father’s day
Our neighborhood is a happy place where we celebrate birthdays of our children with song and food and friendship
Bottle Rock weekend. Be safe. Enjoy. Walk. It's a good weekend to say hello to your neighbors.
A group of neighbors are concerned and want to let the neighborhood know that there is a vote tonight at City Hall about the cell phone installations that are being installed in the neighborhood. They are concerned about the health of our community. If you have a concern, it would be good to call your City Council member today and show up at City Hall tonight.
A neighborhood with opinions to share
Even our pot holes in Old Town Napa are pretty. Why in the world we would want the City to fix our streets?
I've been asked if this was a site for discourse with the City Council and issues facing Old Town. We certainly need one however this is not the place. The Neighborhood Association has had meetings where they can speak about their concerns and offer solutions to City office holders like the Chief of Police and Council members. Perhaps it would be good for the neighborhood to come together more often and discuss concerns. This site could post those meetings. We could use an active neighborhood association. Issues that have concerned us in the past were traffic, homelessness, and emergency preparation. This site does not try to be a Nextdoor either (nextdoor being the website). It has simply been a fb page to celebrate our neighborhood and encourage each other to get out and enjoy!
The joy of spring in old town.
There is nothing quite like our beautiful old town in the spring. Get out and take a walk. Spring awaits!
I welcome community dialogue here and want to learn how this page can be useful to you. During the fire, I tried to keep you informed with the facts that were coming from the County Emergency Center That, I believe, sets the tone for making this page useful and relevant to current issues and to celebrating our beautiful neighborhood. I've been living in the Old Town since 1994. We've seen a lot of changes and we have a lot of concerns. Let's also try to celebrate the great neighbors we have as will be seen on Halloween. Every year we host a great community of little goblins. So be careful
And mindful: and look out for our little friends. Cheers!
