With the start of a new year, did you know we have a whole new look? 👀

Collabria Care has completed our integration with Providence and we are excited to share our new website and brand with you. (Soon Facebook will approve our name change too!)

Since we were founded as Hospice of Napa Valley in 1979, our South Jefferson Health Center has become a leading provider for those facing the transitions of aging, Alzheimer’s disease and other serious illnesses or the end of life, throughout Napa County. Our services are now offered under:

✳️ Providence Hospice Napa Valley
✳️ Providence Palliative Care Napa Valley
✳️ Providence Adult Day Health Napa Valley

Our name is changing, but our compassionate care is not! 🙏

These programs are supported by the fundraising arm of the organization, now known as Providence Community Health Foundation Napa Valley (https://foundation.providence.org/ca/napa), which continues to ensure that all donations are used to benefit our community.

We continue to provide expert professional care, support, and education to our community—as we have over the last four decades. 🗓️

We invite you to visit our new website! 👉 www.communityhealthnapavalley.org.

🚶 We have implemented leading pedestrian intervals (LPIs) which give pedestrians a head start before a light changes allowing more time for drivers to see them.

🚦 We have installed flashing yellow arrows which, when illuminated, allow waiting motorists to make a left-hand turn after yielding to oncoming traffic.

🚘 We are installing 17 Automated License Plate Readers around town. This system is expected to lead to a decrease in stolen vehicles, hit-and-run accidents, repeat DUI offenders and other vehicle based crimes.

All these changes have been proven to increase the safety of pedestrians, vehicles and cyclists. Learn more about traffic safety in here: https://www.cityofnapa.org/1151/Traffic-Safety
---

With the recent rain, the Town would like to remind the community that the sandbag filling station has moved this year to the gravel parking lot south of Veterans Park on Washington Street. The use of sandbags is a simple way to prevent or reduce flood water damage. Properly filled and placed sandbags can act as a barrier to divert moving water around, instead of through, buildings. The sand and sandbags are available for free to the community. A trash scan is located next to the sand pile with bags for use.
