We’re excited to kick off our fall programming with Chat + Chew, a new series hosted on the first Wednesday of every month to introduce The New School’s military-connected community to influential representatives from Veteran Services Organizations (VSO) across New York City! Chat + Chew is a convenient, productive way to bridge connections, find community and foster opportunities for mentorship.
On September 4th, from 12 pm to 2 pm, CMAS will welcome the Wounded Warrior Project () to campus in the Mil/Vet Student Lounge (Fanton Hall Room 528). Snacks will be provided! All military-affiliated students at are welcome to attend.

Showcasing a working series titled, Functioning Construction, Formations of Deconstruction — Alejandro’s photography incorporates both digital and analogue, exploring processes within social constructs and the psycho-social aspects of everyday life.
His work encompasses small-family owned businesses, useless and unwanted spaces, and small narratives that reveal the intersection between constructive and deconstructive properties.

Veteran Spotlight! Malart "Mac" Cunningham Jr. is a fashion design major at Parsons. Mac was a Navy chief petty officer (master at arms) during his 12 years of service. Now, he's creative director for MOCIMaster of Ceremonies, L.L.C., a company he started while in the Navy.
