Artemis Hellenic Club was reopened on November 2012 after being closed since 2009. Our goal is to share Greek culture and lifestyle.
Artemis Hellenic Club was created on 1974 . We reopened it on November 2012 after being closed since 2009. Our goal is to create a space for Hellenic youth to network and share the Greek culture and lifestyle.
Wildfires are an annual occurrence and battle during the hot summer months in Greece. Artemis Hellenic Club at Hunter College is supporting The Hellenic Initiative, which is a non-profit organization that is raising money to help repair the damages caused and assist those who have been displaced from their homes. In previous years, funds were raised to offer a fire-fighting truck to the Greek Fire Service and to purchase much needed trash bins for the cities of Rafina and Mati. The Hellenic Initiative provides crisis relief and works to mobilize the Greek diaspora. Their goal is to aid in sustainable economic recovery for the Greek people. If you are interested in donating to this cause, please find the link here: https://www.thehellenicinitiative.org/donate-now/
Any amount is deeply appreciated. We will be picking a donor at random, and they will be sent a care package of Greek goodies - be sure to send us a screenshot of your donation confirmation for a chance to win!

Είναι η επέτειος του «Όχι»!
75 years ago today Ioannis Metaxas, the dictator of Greece at the time, rejected Benito Mussolini's ultimatum: either Greece allowed Axis forces to enter Greek territory and occupy unspecified locations, or face war.
Metaxas refused, thus Greece entered the Second World War.
