In its 9th year, the RiverArts Music Tour will take place on **Saturday, June 1, 2024**, throughout the Rivertown villages of Dobbs Ferry, Hastings-on-Hudson, Irvington, and Tarrytown.
With over 300 performers, music will fill backyards, gardens, village businesses, churches, community centers, and open green spaces on the banks of the Hudson River. 🌳🌊
It’s the largest, family-friendly, free event for music lovers in lower Westchester County and truly offers something for everyone — from classical and jazz to folk, rock, alternative, urban, and world music. 🎶🌍

International Student Spotlight!
Dhruv is a Graduate student pursuing his MS in Information Systems. Outside of English, he also speaks Gujarati and Hindi! When he’s not studying at Pace, Dhruv enjoys exploring new places and playing sports, and you can catch him binge- watching his current favorite show Suits. In terms of music, Dhruv’s favorite song these days is Unstoppable by Sia. During his time here in NYC, Dhruv’s favorite place to visit is the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt. He highly recommends you to plan a visit, and don’t forget to take lots of pictures! Other than NYC, Dhruv would love to visit London, UK in the future. Who knows what new adventures await him there! This spring, Dhruv is looking forward to visiting The Tidal Basin in Washington DC to witness the cherry blossoms in full bloom. Who knows where we’ll see Dhruv off to next! PACE ISS NAME THE PLACE CHALLENGE 🌎
Avni is majoring in Computer Science, and apart from English she also speaks Hindi and Marathi. Avni's go-to recipe is “Kadhi-Chawal”, a traditional Maharashtrian dish. When she is not studying, Avni loves to read books, meditate, travel, and practice photography. Her favorite places in NYC are the Brooklyn Bridge and One Vanderbilt, and she would like to visit Santorini in Greece in the future. Avni’s favorite tradition/festival is Diwali. The last book she read for fun was The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown and a show she binge-watched this year was Better Call Saul. This fall she has enjoyed seeing the fall colors and visiting 'The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze' display in Hudson Valley.

Aakansha is majoring in Computer Science, and apart from English she also speaks Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, and a bit of Spanish. Aakansha's favorite snacks are Chole Bhature, Dosa, and a chilled Butter Milk drink. When she is not studying, Aakansha is traveling and exploring new places, trying new food joints, and painting. Her favorite places in NYC are Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, and Times Square, and she would like to visit Spain in the future. The last book she read for fun was Mrs. Funnybones by Twinkle Khanna and some shows she binge-watched this year were Money Heist and The Bold Type. Aakansha’s favorite festivals are Diwali and Holi, and a song she’s been listening to on repeat is Do gallan by Garry Sandhu. She is looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends, exploring new places, and trying delicious pumpkin recipes!

Nayana is majoring in Enterprise Analytics, and apart from English she also speaks Hindi, Marathi, and Kannada. When she is not studying, Nayana is either planning a vacation or daydreaming of a vacation. As a result of her travels, she has also developed a passion for photography, so in her free time, she also likes to take pictures of both her favorite (SoHo) and undiscovered places in NYC. The last book she read for fun was Many Lives, Many Masters by Dr. Brian Weiss and she would like to visit Iceland in the future to witness the world’s best phenomenon, the Aurora Borealis, and to discover Iceland’s beauty! Nayana’s favorite festival is Diwali, and a song she’s been listening to on repeat is Love Nwantiti by CKay. She is looking forward to starting a new career, meeting new people, making new friends, and exploring NYC!

Lakshmi is majoring in Computer Science, and apart from English she also speaks Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. When she is not studying, Lakshmi loves to travel and visit parks in her surrounding area! The last book she read for fun was Coffee Can Investing by Pranab Uniyal and she would like to visit Las Vegas and Niagara Falls in the future. Lakshmi’s favorite place in NYC is Times Square and her favorite restaurant is Shake Shack. Lakshmi’s favorite traditions/festivals are Ganesh Chaturthi and Diwali, and a song she’s been listening to on repeat is Empire State of Mind by Alicia Keys. The one thing she is most looking forward to is this winter and snow!

Sheryl is majoring in Political Science with a Minor in Peace and Justice, and apart from English she also speaks Tamil. When she is not studying, Sheryl usually goes for a walk or goes grocery shopping but she also likes to read and catch up on sleep! The last book she read for fun is A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas and she would like to visit Greece and Iceland in the future. Sheryl’s favorite places in NYC are Koreatown (for the food) and Central Park, and her favorite tradition/festival is the mid-autumn festival in Singapore (she and her family look forward to it every year solely for the mooncakes!). Her go-to recipe is Indomie mee Goreng, stir-fried instant noodles that take less than 10 minutes to make and help cure her homesickness. A song she’s been listening to on repeat is The moment I Knew by Taylor Swift. The one thing she is most excited about for this fall is the colder weather and Caramel Apples!

When she is not studying, Preeti is exploring new places, reading novels, watching Korean drama, or obsessing over BTS! Some shows she binge-watched this year were True Beauty, The Originals and It's Okay to Not Be Okay. She would like to visit Paris in the future, her favorite place in NYC is Central Park, and her favorite snack is Korean noodles. Some songs she’s been listening to on repeat are Stay by Justin Bieber and Spring Day by BTS. Preeti is a new international student so she is very excited about this new phase in her life and is looking forward to meeting new people!

Prachi's favorite places in NYC are the Rockefeller Center and the High Line, and her favorite treat is hot chocolate! A song she’s been listening to on repeat is On my way by Alan Walker. The one thing she is most excited about for this fall is making new friends and exploring new places with them!
