The Wilson Center for Social Entrepreneurship promotes social change through entrepreneurship - by
The Helene T. & Grant M. Wilson Center for Social Entrepreneurship aims to build a diverse portfolio of research projects with a focus on the identification and analysis of immediate issues facing nonprofits, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and social enterprises.
To that end, the Center invites faculty to apply for appointments as 2024–2025 Wilson Center Fellows. Fellows will serve a 1-year term (October through October). During that time, Wilson Fellows will work on their specific project (case studies and academic research are strongly preferred, interdisciplinary work is encouraged) that supports the Center in this goal, apply now through August 25th. Kudos to our 23-24 Wilson Center Faculty Fellow Professor Jessica Magaldi, JD, her Wilson funded research champions gender inclusiveness in business education by examining case studies for female representation. Her work aims to inspire future leaders and ensure educational materials reflect our diverse world. We're thrilled to announce that Pace University has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Teagle Foundation to establish an undergraduate fellowship focused on shaping our future public service leaders working on the governance of New York City waterways.
The "City and the Sea: A New York City Fellowship in Civics and Public Service" will be an undergraduate fellowship program consisting of two courses and an internship experience. Spearheaded by Pace's Wilson Center for Social Entrepreneurship, Dyson’s Public Administration and Political Science departments, and the Center for Community Action and Research, the fellowship will provide our students with hands-on experience in civic leadership, municipal governance, and policy-making, the skills and tools needed to make a real difference in their communities. Together, we're building a brighter, more engaged future for NYC, one wave at a time. Let's make waves together! 🌊

Our interns make a 280 hour commitment, earn $19/hr. and work full-time, 35 hours per week for 8 weeks at an innovative nonprofit or unique social enterprise in the metro area.
