Prospect Lefferts Gardens Community Supported Agriculture (PLG CSA) is a partnership between residents in PLG and our local NY farmers.
Members purchase “shares” of vegetables, fruit and/or eggs and then pick up weekly from June to January.

It’s whaddaya making Wednesday! Made this recipe from that uses any combo of the peas and fava beans from the last couple of veggie hauls. Summer pea salad with unexpected dressing. It’s on repeat! Tag or DM us to tell us what you’re making!

SHIFT OPTION— any of you who still need to sign up for a shift but don’t want to get up early/commit to a four block- we need a driver who can bring leftover csa stuff to CAMBA on Winthrop 4x. Karen did it on her bike and rose to the challenge but it would be so much easier in a car! PLEASE HELP

NEW Wednesday food spotlight: whattaya making?
CSA member Mike has made scape compound butter for four years straight. The recipe is simple: let the butter soften and throw it and the scapes in a food processor. It’s delicious on bread, pasta, fish and chicken. You can scramble eggs in it and some teens love it on pizza! We’d love to hear from YOU! Whattaya making? Dm us with a pic and a recipe and we’ll see you hear with a new treat next week!

Hey all--I have someone in our CSA who needs to sell their share asap. It would be for the remaining 17 weeks for $410 (if you started this Saturday).
