Last week our 8th graders had their Graduation dinner dance and it was a huge success! Our soon-to-be graduates enjoyed themselves dancing and mingling with their friends and classmates.

During the event, awards were given out to recognize the hard work and dedication of our students throughout the school year. It was a joyous occasion filled with laughter, smiles, and memories that will last a lifetime.

We want to thank all the students, teachers, administration, and staff who helped make this event possible. It was truly a night to remember as everyone danced the night away and celebrated the accomplishments of our graduating class.

As we approach the end of the school year, we are filled with pride and excitement for what the future holds for our students. We are confident that they will go on to achieve great things and make us proud.

Dear Parents,

Here is the wonderful news that took place last week. Our kindergarten students had a successful Moving Up Day ceremony. It was a joyous occasion filled with proud moments as our kindergarteners sang, spoke, and celebrated their journey towards first grade.

After the ceremony, we invited the kindergarteners and their parents to a special breakfast in the school gymnasium. It was a lovely opportunity for families to come together, celebrate the achievements of our students, and enjoy some quality time together.

We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and involvement in your child's education. Your presence at events like Moving Up Day means the world to our students and helps create a strong sense of community within our school.

As we look ahead to the next school year, we are excited to continue working with you and your child to ensure a successful transition to first grade.

Thank you once again for your support, and congratulations to our kindergarten students on their moving up day!

Today, our students from Kindergarten to Grade 7 gathered in the school auditorium for the last Mass of the school year. Father Cruz spoke to us about how great our God is and reminded us of the importance of keeping our faith strong, even during the summer break.

As we head into the summer months, it is important to remember that we should never take a break from God. There are many ways to bring God closer to us during this time, whether it be through prayer, attending Mass at a local church, or participating in community service projects.

I encourage you to continue to foster your child's relationship with God over the summer break and to find ways to keep their faith alive and strong. Let us all take this time to reflect on the blessings we have received throughout the school year and to give thanks to God for his love and guidance.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child's spiritual development. May you have a blessed and restful summer.

We hosted our annual ice cream social for our students in UPK3 to grade 7. It was a fun and delicious event where the students were treated to their choice of vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry ice cream, along with chocolate or caramel syrup and various toppings to create their own sundaes. For those who preferred it, rainbow ice was also available.

Our servers for the day were none other than our dedicated teachers and staff members, who happily scooped and served the ice cream to the students. It was a great opportunity for everyone to come together and enjoy a sweet treat before the summer break begins.

As the school year comes to a close, we want to thank you for your continued support and involvement in your child's education. We hope that events like the ice cream social help create lasting memories for our students and bring our school community closer together.

Today we had our 3rd Annual St. Raymond's Wax Museum with class 8301. This wonderful tradition was started by Mrs. McClintock and continued by Dr. Bacigalupo, and it has become a highlight of our school year.

The wax museum provided our students with a unique opportunity to learn about historical figures in a creative and engaging way. Each student chose a historical figure to research and portray in the museum, and they put a lot of effort into their costumes and presentations. It was inspiring to see our students embodying these important figures and sharing their knowledge with visitors.

Students from UPK3 to grade 8 had the chance to visit the wax museum and learn about a wide range of historical figures, from inventors and scientists to political leaders and activists. It was a fantastic learning experience for everyone involved.

Our parish was truly blessed not once, but twice last week!-- Tuesday and Saturday.

On Saturday, we were graced with the presence of Timothy Cardinal Dolan at the 5:30 Mass on the vigil of Pentecost Sunday.

It was a truly special and memorable experience to have Cardinal Dolan join us in worship and celebration. Following the Mass on Saturday, a reception was held in recognition of the ongoing Cardinal's Appeal, which supports important initiatives and programs within our parish and the wider community.

Let us continue to come together in prayer and fellowship, inspired by the visit of Cardinal Dolan and the spirit of Pentecost. May we be guided by the Holy Spirit in all that we do and continue to spread love and compassion to those around us.

We are excited to inform you that our junior choir had an opportunity this past Saturday at the 5:30 mass. Following the mass, the choir had the chance to meet with Cardinal Dolan in the newly renovated Lower Church before the reception in the elementary school.

This was a unique and memorable experience for our young choir members, and we are thrilled that they had been given this opportunity. Meeting with Cardinal Dolan is a rare privilege, and we are sure that the children will remember this moment for years to come.

Thank you to Mr. Connolly who sent the pictures that Fr. Cruz took.

We are excited to share with you that St. Raymond's parish celebrated Pentecost today. It was a beautiful and meaningful service where we reflected on the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and the birth of the Christian church.

During the mass, the priest talked about the significance of Pentecost and how the Holy Spirit empowers us to live out our faith with courage and conviction. We also prayed for the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our lives and for the unity of the church as we continue to spread the message of God's love and grace.

We encourage you to continue the spirit of Pentecost at home with your family by praying together, reading scripture, and reflecting on how we can be filled with the Holy Spirit in our daily lives.

Thank you for being a part of our parish community and for your continued support.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and bless you and your family.
