You do not need to be a graduate/alumni of Notre Dame to get involved! Our geographic area includes New York City (but not Staten Island) and parts of Westchester and Rockland counties. ARC ND brings you a Conversation with Deacon Ray Deaver to celebrate Transgender Awareness Week.
After the conversation with Deacon Ray, we'll get an update from campus with student leaders of PrismND and FIRE Starters.

Deacon Ray is a retired permanent deacon and father of three daughters, one of whom is transgender. He has published articles for U.S. Catholic magazine, Outreach, and New Ways Ministry on gender identity issues, and has made presentations to Catholic dioceses, schools, parishes, and health care systems, including consultation with the USCCB. He provides pastoral counseling to transgender individuals and their families from across the U.S.
