The New York State English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematic Assessment test results for the Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of New York continue to improve: the results from a recently-released report that summarizes achievement data related to each of the New York State Education Department (NYSED) Examinations administered in the Archdiocese of New York Catholic schools for the 2017-18 academic year, show that Catholic schools have a higher percentage of students meeting or exceeding 2017 Math and ELA proficiency standards than New York State and City Public Schools.
