I definitely offended a lot of energy leeches & vampires disguised as “friends” when I began setting and asserting STRONG boundaries which significantly limited their “access” to my energy & emotional labor. The crazy thing is, they probably still convince themselves the same narrative still to this day how I “changed,” never accounting the fact that they were the one hugely dehumanizing me & taking advantage merely for my spiritual gift & empathic nature. Many of them are covert narcissistic, perpetual “victims.”

Most people are only takers. They only seek you when THEY need you to drain you but cannot be there for you when YOU need them. They are not your people, they just like what YOU can offer to them.! ☝🏼

Self awareness is just the beginning. Many are “self aware” and feel righteous in their problematic behaviors.
