Peace & blessings everyone:
Please continue to pray for the founder of Pakistani American Youth Society Ahsan Chughtai, who is an amazing person, friend, husband, father, mentor, Big B, powerhouse community organizer & activist, and senior advisor to the Mayor Eric Adams. He is in ICU at Maimonides Hospital with an acute infection since Friday. Please, kindly respect the family's request for privacy. He is being taken care by the best staff and doctors. The hospital is not accepting any visitors at this point.
Please pray 🙏 🤲 for his fast recovery and health. Keep his family in your thoughts.

A huge shout out to NYPD Muslim Officers Society, NYPD Deputy Inspector Adeel Rana, and the entire NYPD-MOS team who have brought coalition of community based organizations on a same platform including Pakistani American Youth Society to collect, sort, pack, and deliver much needed shipment of items for the flood victims in Pakistan. Items included medicines, winter essential, medical essentials, clothes, hygiene kits, sanitary and toiletries items. This is transparency and accountability at its best.
A heartfelt thank you to the senior advisor to the Mayor Eric Adams Ahsan Chughtai & NYC Deputy Public Advocate Kashif Hussain of Office of the NYC Public Advocate Jumaane D. Williams for their guidance and support of the flood relief efforts.
This could not have been possible if not for the the leadership of Pakistan Consulate General New York Ayesha Ali and Turkish Consulate General in New York - T.C. New York Başkonsolosluğu Reyhan Özgür working together to ensure the shipment goes to Pakistan via Pro Bono generous offer of Turkish Airlines (Cargo) at JFK Airport.
This is first of many shipments to Pakistan. We are anticipating more developments on the flood relief efforts in near future.
It's always an honor to join Muslims Giving Back on Saturday nights in expanding the services and bringing more resources to MGB's homeless outreach program. Pakistani American Youth Society is now collecting gloves, winter hats, hygiene kits, soap, tooth paste, tooth brush, socks, large size jackets, and blankets as winter is fast approaching.
Please drop off the stuff at 1001 Newkirk Avenue (side entrance) during weekdays after 7 pm. Make sure all drop off items are new or rarely used (must be clean, washed, folded).
CBOs are integral to improving our neighbors’ lives, and you’d be hard pressed to find a group in BK that does as much good as .
I presented PAYS with a proclamation to honor them for their work at the beautiful and I thank them for all that they do!
