We are sad to share the passing of one of our UMassD CAS faculty, Dr. Emmanuel Ojadi, Associate Professor of Chemistry.

Message from the Chancellor:

Dr. Ojadi came to UMass Dartmouth in 1987 as a Full-Time Lecturer in the Chemistry & Biochemistry department. He became an Assistant Professor in 1990 before being promoted to Associate Professor in 1996 and serving as Department Chair from 2006 to 2014. Dr. Ojadi taught and advised students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in Chemistry and was honored by his students as the C.N. Wu Chemical Educator of the Year six separate times. He also received the Leo M. Sullivan Teacher of the Year Award in 2007.
