On August 6th, Judi and Penny presented Kevin Weasler a certificate of appreciation for all he has done for our chapter of Project Linus. Kevin is the owner of several Culver's locations in the northern suburbs. For over twelve years, he has graciously invited us to host monthly events at his Northbrook and Buffalo Grove cafes. Culver's generously donates a portion of our group sales to our chapter.

Thank you Kevin and Culver's for your continued support of our chapter over the years. We look forward to our partnership enduring for many years to come.

Our next fundraiser at California Pizza Kitchen in Deer Park is Monday, June 24th. The address is 20502 N Rand rd.

The fundraiser runs all day and is valid for dine in or carry out. Be sure to tell them you are supporting the Project Linus fundraiser. Bring your family, friends, & neighbors too.

We will also meet in the cafe from noon to 2:00pm. Bring a project to work on and all the finished blankets you might have. It's a fun afternoon of sharing patterns and ideas while enjoying a delicious meal. Purchasing food is not required to attend.

Do you like to crochet around the edge of a fleece blanket, known as a Penny blanket, but can't prep the fleece yourself? Try our fleece exchange. You purchase 1 1/2 yards of fleece per blanket and swap it for a piece that has already been prepped. Please let me know in advance if you plan to exchange fleece so we can be prepared.
