The Holiday Season is upon us and we enjoyed bringing Santa Claus to Plymouth on Friday night.
Members from Northville City Fire and Farmington Hills Fire were able to attend a railroad tank car specialist course funded by FEMA. This 5 day class provided students with the knowledge on how to mitigate hazards during a possible train derailment as well as how to plan ahead in the event one were to occur. The NCFD provides personnel to the Western Wayne Hazmat team and this knowledge allows them to respond more effectively to these types of emergencies.
Northville Halloween 2023 was a success. Thank you everybody who dressed up and came out. We would like to highlight our sponsors this year. The refreshments are provided by generous local businesses here in Downtown Northville.

Less than a week to go before Halloween! The NCFD will once again be opening the doors and providing refreshments for visitors. The Department and the amazing local businesses who sponsor this event are excited to see everyone's costumes. The Historic District streets will close 6 to 8pm on October 31st to allow for safe trick or treating. The siren will sound throughout the town and the doors will open promptly at 6pm. See you there!
Cold weather is creeping in which means many residents may utilize space heaters to keep warm. Please use caution because these devices can cause fires. Yesterday a small fire was discovered in Northville that was kept in check by the building's sprinkler system.

Fire Prevention Week is fast approaching. We will have 2 events this year. Station 1 in Northville will have an open house on Oct 7th and Plymouth's open house will be on Oct 14th. Come by and visit.
