Lily went on an adventure today.
She loves walks, other dogs, kids, car rides.

Husky.mix probably with Shepherd. Her son was DNA tested as Husky Shepherd Pit mix.

She is around 2.5 years.

Must have another dog that's playful or she will become depressed. Kids a plus.

3 days late but.....

Cassies pups...4.5 weeks

All bathed and nails and microchipped.

These kids have fat rolls!

It's bath day with nails, meds, pics and microchips. Several are hard to tell apart so once the chip goes in thats who they are!!!

This big boy just left for a slumber party sleepover with one of our wonderful volunteers. 6 kids should wear him out!!

Adoption event tomorrow CANCELLED due to lack of volunteers.

Cleo's pups results are in. Bolt was the chosen puppy for this litter..

I requested a re-do as I am not feeling the primary breeds of Husky Shepherd. Not a blue eye in 10 puppies. It's possible but they are so small. The white ones do look like my Shepard boy but a redo won't hurt.

I will agree on Cattle dog, border collie and chihuahua as I see those 3.

Could still use 1 more volunteer to help at event so they can wear adopt me vests and walk around the store...10 to 2..
2 hr shifts quite helpful too.

Noone has posted looking for her or answered any of our ads. We will get her on the spay schedule for mid September or shortly after and vaccinate. If anyone is interested she will be up for adoption mid September if noone comes forward.

We have named her Pearl after her collar.

Stewie, Dusty and Heidi - Lola's pups from her last litter (so we are told) get fixed tomorrow.

Looking for 1 volunteer Thursday Sept 12th for a vendor event in Olympia. Set up 930 starts at 10 am to 1pm.

Its a Wellness fair thru the cannabis/liquor board and Veterans Affair.

We will have either a few small puppies or small dogs or both...just a few.

Please let me know ONLY if you can help...

Dumpling went on a 24 hour sleepover with a volunteer. Dumpling was so happy with a child, a couch and a sleep buddy in bed at night.

Dna was mailed off today on Lucky one of Cassies little water buffalo's as I call them. The BIGGEST puppies in my 7 years of rescue.

Bigger than a 6 inch sub sandwich!

Chewie update

He went on a 24 hour assessment and was a total charmer. No aggression, no biting....playing as can be. He was with kids of all ages, other dogs.

We also had 2 volunteers with their dog come to spend a couple hours and no issues.

Only thing I saw personally was he didn't want to give up his yummy cookie...he said MINE with a snarl. He was corrected. We did this a few times and he picked up his cookie and turned his back to me. Nothing excessive or anything that can't be taught a firm NO. He has been playing with Bean and Quinoa in their play group and a happy boy.

I would make sure his next family had older kids in hopes they understand him. And parents who were knowledgeable regarding puppies. He is such a good boy.

URGENT NEED

A Community member who attempted su***de needs to go to inpatient treatment for a week maybe two. She has a sweet well behaved 5 month aussie puppy. It needs a place to live...this is very short term.

Sadly Batik now Chewie is back from Laceys litter. They claim he growls and bites (14 week PUPPY) They gave up on him. So much for commitment. They discussed his "issues" (he is a PUPPY) and a trainer who never met him deemed him geneticly damaged. The trainer needs a new career. Better now while he is young and more so adoptable. I am so frustrated and sad for Batik who could have been living the life by now.
