We love offering free yard games at the carnival for families and kiddos to keep entertained as well. If you have some fun games like ladder ball, giant JENGA or giant Connect 4, we’d love to borrow for the day.
Reach out to our PTA President, Patrick at [email protected] if you have any items we can borrow.
Thank you!
BHES Families - no plans for dinner tonight? No problem! Head to Mod Pizza in Lacey (near Target) for dine-in or take-out. You can even order online with the code MODGIVES25.
Don't forget to mention BHES if you order in-store so we get fundraising credit. Please note the location is different than our previous Mod pzza fundraiser.
Thanks for your support! Mod Pizza will donate 25% of the BHES sales to the PTA.

Who is getting excited for the Spring Carnival & Auction?!? Flyers are going up, going out in backpacks & even hitting your email.
Thanks to those who reached out to let us know that they couldn’t access the PTA Newsletter through the OSD App. We’re working on solutions but for now, we’re trying to get information out to everyone, in any way! Thanks for your patience!
Flyers going out include information on donating for class auction baskets, pre-sales for carnival food (you don’t want to miss out!) & game tokens as well as volunteer sign-ups.

Plus, a fun bonus, there will a pizza party awarded to the class that has the most volunteer sign-ups for the carnival. Add the teacher name (or all the teachers if you have multiple kiddos) on sign-up genius so we can get it counted.
We can’t wait for the big day; let’s make this an amazing event, together!
TWO MORE DAYS!
Let’s rally together and make these class auction baskets extra special. The funds raised from baskets are vital to helping fund enrichment, STEAM, events & more.

Look at those garden club kids working away at lunch recess! A huge thank you to Roots Rock Plants for donating lots of veggie starts for the kids to fill the beds. We are so appreciative of generous small businesses that support our BHES community.
The weather interrupted our plans but we got one bed planted with big plans this week to get the rest in the ground! If you have any plant starts to donate, we'd love them! Particularly, potatoes, tomatoes, pumpkin, zucchini, basil & cilantro.
We also really need more volunteers. Click the link below to join us at recess for Garden Club.
