Woof, it's been so hot already this summer! 🔥
Besides a few kids camps, workshops, and private lessons, the studio is pretty quiet in August to avoid the hot hot heat.
If you're looking for some practice time or training space, check out ! If you're interested in private or semi-private lessons in whatever discipline you'd like, some of the instructors are around and happy to work with you.
😲 September/October session will begin August 25, stay tuned to your emails for a schedule preview in the next couple of weeks!

We are hosting a free and open to the public feedback workshop training, facilitated by Ariel Schmidtke. Learn to get the feedback you want for your creative projects! This workshop will teach you how to use Liz Lerman’s Critical Response Process, “a method for giving and getting feedback on work in progress, designed to leave the maker eager and motivated to get back to work. Through the supportive structure of its four core steps, the Critical Response Process combines the power of questions with the focus of informed dialogue. The process offers makers an active role in the critique of their own work. It gives the maker a way to rehearse the connections they seek when art meets its audience or a product meets its purpose.” Sunday, June 23rd at 4 p.m. at Sparrow Studios
Marlo and Emily are hosting an Act Creation and Creative Writing retreat in Mexico this fall! Check out 's website for more info, or ask them about it when you see them at the studio 😎 🌴
Did you know: our summer session is only 4 weeks long, instead of 8? The studio gets too hot in August, and we all tend to get very busy during the PNW's best weather of the year. This means the entire session is OFF-CURRICULUM! Our instructors will offer a variety of new or unique classes, teaching tricks and apparatuses you don't get in our typical class curriculums.
here's a teaser of some adult (13+) classes you may see offered this summer: doubles, drops, dynamic rope, unusual apparatuses, and more. We are offering 4 weeks of kids classes as well! The session will run July 7 through August 3.
(These offerings are not designed to progress you through the standard, Sparrow curriculum; you’ll need to return to the 8-week versions of CB1 and CB2 in the fall to continue advancing levels.)
✨
We'll be sending out the summer schedule preview to your emails by the end of this week. Get on our mailing list to get notified -- [email protected]
