We are honored that "Messengers of Memory," a 25-year retrospective of the Holocaust Art & Writing Contest, is the inaugural exhibition in the brand new Burra Family Community Room at the newly renovated Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University. The exhibition runs from April 17 - July 31.

Over the years, Gerda Weissmann Klein has inspired countless educators and students participating in the Holocaust Art & Writing Contest.
We are very sad to share the news of her passing, but we also know that the works that were inspired by Gerda's testimony - and the works we know will be created by future participants - will keep her story and her memory alive.
