⭐Meet Jamie Barrios, an aspiring Chapman Music Major!

🎻"The first time I went to Chapman University was when my class did the Chapman Strings Festival in which I played viola and ever since then I’ve had this passion to play music professionally and to expand my knowledge on music which lead me to learn many more instruments like Violin, Double Bass and many more."

🎵Jamie, currently in 11th grade will be participating in the SAUSD summer musical at Santa Ana High School.

🐾"In this years musical, Newsies, I will be playing either violin or cello as there sadly is no viola part. I am hoping that with my lessons with Professor Triggs I will be able to use the techniques that he’s taught me to become a better player and to audition one day to become part of The Chapman Family."

Our music camps kicked off yesterday and we’re having a blast! It’s amazing to see so many talented young musicians working tirelessly to perfect their craft. The grand finale is a FREE concert on June 14th and June 21st that you won’t want to miss!

My acting, writing, humor & personality definitely shine through in my stand up comedy and I’m thankful to Chapman & our Chapman Alumni Family for the support of my journey!"

We are thrilled to announce Jingyuan (Mary) Zhang (Left), soprano, and student of Chapman University's College of Performing Arts Prof. Milena Kitic was awarded a 1st place in Vocal Organization of California Competition (VO-CAL) in the classical music category on May 19th , 2024!🥳

Clarissa Bycott, (Right) another soprano from CoPA and the Kitic Voice Studio, has also been recognized with an Honorable Mention.👏
