THANK YOU to the 60+ volunteers and staff who helped us continue our end-of-the-year Field Day tradition - and what a fun-filled day it was! Special thank you to Coach Havemann for her support and help. We couldn't have done it without her.

Field Day 2024!
Holcomb PTA is excited to remind you that we will be hosting our end-of-the-year Field Day on Tuesday, June 11th. The kids LOVE Field Day! It's a fun-filled day to mark the end of the school year.

What You Need to Know:
1. Dress your student appropriately for warm weather. As of now, the forecast is low-mid 80s. Please have your student wear comfortable shoes and anticipate water activities.
2. Have your student wear their new Holcomb Spiritwear t-shirt to show their school spirit.
3. Apply sunscreen before school, if desired.

As a reminder, only parents/guardians who have gone through the Volunteer Application process (and subsequent background check) can volunteer for Field Day.

Event Timeline:
Kinder-2nd Grade: 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM
3rd-5th Grade: 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM

This year's Field Day includes two bouncy obstacle courses, ground obstacle course, multiple relay races, exercise and fitness activities, water balloon race, dance floor, and other fun events. Some stations will be group activities where all students play together, others will be individual activities or activities with teammates. No times or scores are being kept for records. No awards are given. Field Day is just a fun-filled day for students to enjoy.

In an effort to bring some mid-year spirit to our school, your PTA membership voted to provide all students and staff with spirit wear*.

March 18th is Holcomb Spirit Wear Day. Have your student wear their new shirt that day!

*We did our best to estimate sizes for each student. If you find that your student’s shirt is too small, please return the shirt back to school and email us at [email protected] and include your student’s name, preferred size and teacher’s name.
